A3 Scanners And Printers
3 Printers - How best to connect to one PC?
I have an all in one A4 Printer/Scanner, an A3 printer and a colour laser printer.
I only use one PC and use each printer daily.
I currently have them all plugged into a USB hub and just select the printer from the print options page of the package I'm using at that time.
Is this the best way to connect 3 printers to one PC?
What are the alternatives?

The three printers all serve a specific function.
The A4 one is for general scanning, has my card reader attached and is better at printing photographs.
The A3 printer is my large format printer for printing posters.
The laser printer is for printing leaflets.
I only have a small box room available as I work from home, so no large, all encompassing industrial printer can be considered because of the footprint - my printers all sit on shelves underneath each other, so take up less room.
I don't see any problem, I was working at firm that refurbishes in cartridges of all sorts so they had a bank of printers ( 10 or more ) to check that the refilled cartridges were OK, we just chose the printer we needed that day from the list in the printers folder, the only thing that may help is if you get a USB / PCI card so you have 4 more USB ports as against using a hub, hubs are not usually recommended for printers and scanners.
