Upgrading Omnipage for Vista on Canon i560 printer and Canon LIDE 20 scanner?
I got windows vista and i have issues installing Omnipage 4. It tells me to install it with the old version, but tells me it has to be removed (old version) So i remove it and it tells me to install the old software! I need this software inorder for me to do a print job and scan. The old version is not vista compatible and wont work with Vista's Internet Explorer 7. Someone please help, 10 points for the one that helps me out the best and actually solves the problem.
Vista has issues with scanners, printers and other peripheral drivers. You might try VMware and make a virtual XP. There was a Yahoo news story today about the drivers issues concerning Vista. Link below.
