What's the best way to digitize old family photos?
My mom has tons of old family photos. In a lot of cases, we don't have the negatives anymore. Most of her kids have spread across the family, and I thought it would be awesome if there was a way to get get digital copies of the pictures, so each kid could have them.
Is there any type of service that does so? (I really have no intention of sitting at a scanner all day.)
Many inexpensive scanners will allow you to put several photos in them and automatically separate them into individual scans. It's called batch scanning and I have an inexpensive Epson all in one that does that. Also the quality is quite nice.
